To succeed with this we need employees who think about technology, services and opportunities in new ways. Our Digital unit within Volvo Cars is leading this journey and is rapidly growing in terms of product, projects and people. Now we would like to strengthen our unit with a Solution Architect.

As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for the cluster called Insights and Product Development Support. This cluster is working with enabling product development within Volvo Cars with digital tools and solutions. We are also working with leveraging insights and analytics to support in the development of new products and services. The cluster is using a wide array of technologies and platforms and the stakeholders are spread out both internally within Volvo Cars and externally at our partners. 

To build on this, we are looking for a candidate with experience from multiple platforms and technologies that can have an agile approach to designing and building systems and have a systems-thinking mindset. Someone that with a customer-centric design thinking can guide and lead the product teams to move in the right direction and help us in continuing our transformation towards a DevOps future. 

Your responsibilities will amongst other things be to:
* Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solutions in the cluster
* Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline 
* Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context 
* Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent 
* Establish critical NFRs for the solution 
* Operate within an economic framework when analyzing the impact of design decisions 
* Work with portfolio stakeholders to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enabler epics 
* Define, explore, and support the implementation of enablers to evolve solution intent, working directly with Agile teams to implement them 
* Plan and develop the Architectural Runway 
* Provide oversight and foster Built-In Quality and Team and Technical Agility

* Bachelor in a relevant field
* Broad experience from defining architectures in multiple different platforms
* Experience from complex global environments
* Experience from managing stakeholders
* Experience of challenges and possibilities using the cloud
