The department Concept andStrategy within unit Safe Vehicle Automation is home organization for the solution architect team, legislation management and research coordination.
As Solution Architect you will find yourself together with experienced solution architects working both internally within Safe Vehicle Automation as well as cooperate with architects, not only across R&D, but also colleagues in external companies that we cooperate with. Your task is to ensure the architectural runway over time, an architecture that has the ability to effectively support feature and function development as well as effective sensor and actuator control within all areas of SVA responsibility.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have a Master of Science in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronic Engineering, Applied Physics or equivalent and at least 5-10 years of experience from mechatronic development task, systems engineering and system dimensioning and optimization. You have experience from all product development phases, advanced engineering, concept and industrialization. Moreover, we see that you have previous experience from leading tasks in a cross-functional environment. You are furthermore fluent in English, spoken and in writing.
Who are you?
As a person, you are structured and have good analytical skills. Moreover, you are innovative and have leadership qualities. We believe that you have the ability to work independently but also enjoy being a part of the development team. You are capable of both, focusing on daily issues as well as long term visions.
You seek to continuously improve your technical leadership with the purpose to make others grow and take responsibility for the complete system solution. You take a systematic approach to visualizing and handling architectural technical debt. You are communicative and can use suitable value argumentation in your dialogues.
