Solution Leader

Position Description
We are looking for a Solution Leader for several applications within the Quality and Warranty portfolio. All solutions have a global user spread among most of AB Volvo’s Business Areas and Business Units. Colleagues within the department are located in India, Sweden, France, Belgium, UK, US and China, a truly global team.


You will be Solution Leader for a sub-portfolio of (4-6) solutions mostly within the warranty domain where Infotree, Oscar and Progar are the main solutions.
You will interact directly with business stakeholders within your Solution Sub-Portfolio. Being the link between business and IT you will have the end to end responsibility both for operations, development and compliance. You will also, as a member of the Warranty and Quality team, contribute to our department overall targets and responsibilities.


Who are we
The Department Quality and Warranty is responsible for the management of all deliveries for core and global solutions in the Quality and Warranty domain. The department, as whole of Global IT, is in an exciting transformation journey taking the lead for digitalization of the Volvo Group.


Responsibilities
Towards business you will be the main point of contact within your sub-portfolio handling requirements, roll out needs, support, and delivery plans. To do that you will manage Process & key user network and agree on e.g. priotisations for corrections or new functionality, business testing and competence/training with the end to end flow.

Within IT you will handle the sub-portfolio access management, support capability, continuity management and the life cycle aspects. And foremost be the link between business and IT putting requirements and projects into production. You will develop the way of working within your portfolio using best practice examples. An important part is also securing that all individual solutions within the assigned sub-portfolio continuously adhere to Volvo Group Policies, Directives and Guidelines. Where IT security is a very focused area.


To the Department Manager you will present financials, discuss delivery plans and adherence to agreed solution level agreements.
