The Innovations department within 3's Technology organization develops most non-voice services at 3 Scandinavia. Within Innovation, the Services & Enablers team handles a wide range of services and enabling systems, such as Portal and Messaging platforms, IN, OTA and VoIP solutions. New products and solutions are constantly added. As a Solution Manager/System Owner within Services & Enablers, you will be responsible for one or more technical solutions. In this role, you are expected to have an in depth understanding of your solution, and for the end-to-end service. You should also have an understanding of all systems interacting with your solution, and communicate with system owners of other areas. You will manage change activities within your area and participate in development and change projects. Over time, you will build knowledge to represent technical, contractual and operational aspects within your area. Your responsibility will include:- [ * Analysis and definition of new technical solutions[ * Managing or participating in technical projects[ * Development of RFI:s and RFP:s, and technical negotiations with suppliers[ * Documentation and technical specifications[ * Managing operational issues and facilitate resolution or escalation where required * Assisting in the review and maintenance of operational processes[ * Supporting the productmanagers and business area owners with expertise, statistics etc. Required skills & experience: * MSc or BSc degree in telecommunicaions, computer science or software engineering * Minimum five years of relevant work experience, ideally in the telecom industry * Experience and technical understanding of networking, server applications, Java, XML * Ideally, experience of mobile networks, 3G, and operator Portal and VAS solutions * Basic project management skills * Fluent in English, both written and spoken
