About this opportunity:

We are seeking a Sourcing Category Manager to join R&D Consultancy Sourcing (R&D) Category team within ICT Sourcing Category Group. 
This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing the R&D Category Strategy, setting targets, and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure a robust supplier base that aligns with Ericsson's business objectives and supports future growth.

What you will do:


* Strategy Development: Develop and execute the R&D category strategy with a cross-category approach and thought leadership mindset to align with Ericsson's business objectives.
* Target Achievement: Drive initiatives to meet R&D Category targets, OKRs, and improve KPI results.
* Supplier Strategy: Contribute to developing mid/long-term strategies for key R&D category suppliers.
* Cost Efficiency: Proactively implement innovative ideas to achieve desired cost efficiency and wanted position.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:  Collaborate closely with R&D stakeholders to understand their needs, requirements and engage the most suitable suppliers.
* Compliance: Adhere to Sourcing Group steering documentation, processes, directives, and compliance requirements.
* Market Analysis: Conduct internal and external market analysis and benchmarking to identify best practices and pricing models in R&D area.
* Supplier Management: Leverage business acumen and strategic insight to manage supplier relationships, even in competitive scenarios.
* Risk Management: Drive risk assessments, Supplier Performance Cards, and develop mitigation plans for key suppliers.
* Performance Monitoring: Conduct deep dives, workshops, R&D category reviews, governance meetings and prepare R&D monthly reports.
* Supplier Base Optimization: Initiate PSL reviews and drive consolidation of the R&D Category supplier base.
* Supplier Evaluation: Evaluate supplier classification and segmentation.
* Governance: Drive Category Business Reviews, provide input for Management Business Reviews, Executive Business Reviews, Supplier Business Reviews, and other governance meetings.
Quality and Compliance: Maintain high standards in sourcing activities, ensuring adherence to Ericsson's Responsible Sourcing program and Code of Conduct

The skills you bring:

* Education: University degree
* Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing and category management, preferably within Ericsson
* Strong business acumen strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with contract law and supply chain risk management.
