Job description
Randstad is now looking for a Senior buyer for our client in an international pharmaceutical company focused on specialty pharmaceuticals on fulfilling the high medical needs of rare disease patients and providing treatment and services to them.  Do you have experience from the pharmaceutical industry and 5 years as a purchaser? Responsibilities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support advancement of projects from late development into commercialization and Life-cycle management. 
Some of your tasks might be:


Supplier selection processes
Negotiation of agreements for technology transfer and development services, manufacturing and supply agreements
Purchasing against direct material

You will report to Head of Strategic Sourcing.

Working hours
Start: immidiately 
Assignementh length: 4-6 month
Remote/Stadshagen
Officehours monday-friday

Qualifications
The right candidate has a university degree in Pharmaceuticals, Engineering, Biochemistry or other relevant area and additional qualification in Procurement, Supply chain management and at least 5 years of work experience with Strategic Sourcing, supply and procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical area.

To be successful you possess strong business skills in Sourcing and procurement and extensive experience in negotiations of complex agreements in a global environment. You have a  strategic mind with ability to establish win-win situations during negotiations with a large portion of interest in understanding and resolving commercial and technical issues. You prefer to work cross functional andwith  networking abilities to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external partners.
