Specialist - Product program & Productization

In the new organization as of 1 July 2022 the Product Definitions team (part of Technology and Group Sustainability function) has assumed the responsibilities of maintaining the harmonized commercial product program (HCPP) and Productization Process. We will do this in close cooperation with Business Areas, Business Lines and other group functions.


Therefore, we will supplement our team by hiring a Specialist for Product program & Productization.


Key accountabilities


Maintenance and development of Harmonized commercial product program (HCPP)
Maintenance and development of Productization process and related processes, including process documentation and training materials
Business owner of IT tools used for HCPP and Productization process (today excel and Sharepoint based)
Support Business Areas and Business Lines and individual project managers in execution of productization projects and making changes in product program
Provide training on HCPP and Productization process
Execute the tasks assigned to process role “HCPP updater” (joint responsibility with other PD team member)
Organize knowledge transfer between the team members (joint responsibility)



Requirements


University level degree, preferably technical
At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in stainless steel
Knowledge about stainless steel products
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
High level of own initiative and self-organization
Detail focus, structured ways of working, capability to handle large amounts of data
Business-oriented mindset and basic understanding of business case writing
Fluent in English (written and verbal), knowledge of German, Finnish or Swedish is an advantage
Project and portfolio management experience is an advantage
Ability to use and/or ability and willingness to learn use of various IT tools including Sharepoint, PowerApps, SAP, Mendix…
Experience in R&D, sales, product development or technical customer service is an advantage



The position can be based in any of Outokumpu’s business locations, preferably in one of the major production sites in Europe.


In this role you will be a member of Product Definitions team and report to the Head of Product Definitions. The role will require some travelling, mostly within Europe.
