Research Engineer / Specialist - Mechanical Fibres

Description

The position involves both solving short-term problems as well as undertaking projects aimed at reducing energy consumption and improving the quality of the mechanical pulp and papermaking furnish mixtures we produce in our mills.You will also work with external R&D suppliers both in projects and in steering functions.Our clients are mainly, but not exclusively, within the business areas Magazine and Newsprint & Book.

Requirements

You have a M.Sc.or the equivalent as well as relevant experience of similar work.The position requires you to:

.Act as a leader for problem solving projects as well as projects of a long-term nature.
.Have good fundamental knowledge of mechanics and be able to apply it to the flows and fields of force involved in the production of mechanical pulp and pulp furnish mixtures.
.Have good communication skills and be able to collaborate in a professional manner with clients.
.Be able to travel.
.Be able to express yourself easily in English both orally and in writing.
.Contribute ideas of your own for new projects.
.Act independently and be able to take your own initiative.
