About the position
The Global Data and Analytics department handles the collection and streamlining of data into the Global Data Warehouse (GDW) and the development of BI solutions and reports in the DentsplyY Sirona group. The team consists of 13 members and work cross-functionally, which means that you will interact with many functions such as finance, marketing, sales, commercial, supply and operations. Our BI strategy is to primarily use Microsoft SSAS, SSRS and Power BI and we are int the process of developing a BI self-service solution and roll-out globally. We also maintain and develop Hyperion Oracle products and we will implement Kinaxis RapidResponse and Anaplan this year.

Your key responsibilities are:
Develop and maintain high quality data warehouse solutions.
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
Review query performance and optimize code in GDW.
Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables in a timely manner.
Prepare documentation and specifications.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Support and maintain data quality in GDW.
Ensure performance and availability of databases.
Take part in design, development and maintenance of BI solutions primarily within Microsoft SSAS and Power BI.
Translate the business needs to technical specifications.



Who you are
In the role as SQL Developer it is important that you can work independently, but also find it stimulating to work in a team as well as in a multicultural and multinational environment in a global footprint. You will work side by side with the Business analysts and project leaders, also located in Mölndal. To succeed it is essential that you are well organized, have good analytic ability, communication skills, and that you are both driven and result-oriented. 
 
We believe you have;
Academic background, preferably in data management, MIS or computer science.
Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL, visual studio and DevOps (TFS).
Skills to optimize complicated SQL statements.
Knowledge of database design and analysis for BI systems and processes.
Knowledge of the whole MS BI stack is a plus.
Experience of data modelling, design of BI systems and processes.
Experience of master data management is preferable.
Strong analytical skills.
Sense of ownership and pride in your work and its impact on company’s success.
Good time-management skills and a team player.
Good at communicating verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
