SSAB Europe IT is a function within SSAB Europe division, with personnel in both Sweden and Finland.
Key Tasks
-Identifies development needs and analyses and evaluates them in co-operation with the business stakeholders.
-Facilitating and assisting business and IT organization to transform business targets and requirements into actionable designs, roadmaps and projects.
-Ensuring that new and existing IT assets are efficiently used and aligned both with business requirements and with common architecture principles.
-Plans and defines development projects and acts in projects in specified roles (project manager, support business change, training, expert, etc.)
-Collaborates with external vendors and internal customers to provide IT services to business organizations.
-Be the bridge between business and IT
-Work in various areas around the sales and customer solutions like
-EDI Project management
-CRM (Customer Relationship Management )
-Order to cash solutions area
-Digitalization
-Sales configurator, CPQ (Configure Price Quote)
-Customer documents
Requirements
Education
-University, or equivalent
Experience
-Over 3 to 5 years’ experience of business process or IT development in international company
-Good knowledge in business and customer requirements.
-Understanding of modern IT technologies in sales and customer area
-Experience of ERP platforms eg. SAP or similar
-Experience in steel or other manufacturing industries is beneficial
-General knowledge of SAP is an advantage

-Business acumen – combining strategic thinking with technology and leadership skills
-Customer & goal oriented, systematic, and self-driven with a can-do attitude
-Ability and willingness to work in multiple areas
-Innovative, active, and eager to learn new things
-Team player with project and change management skills
-Good communication skills both verbal and written. Fluent in English, Swedish and/or Finnish language is seen as an advantage
