Protection, within SSAB Division Special Steels, is responsible for the sales of Armox & Ramor material to customers worldwide. This position is located in South Africa(RSA).
About the position
The Protection Key Account Manager (KAM)Sub Sahara is responsible for sales of Armox and Ramor within the geographical area. The operative sales work will be within defined budgets and targets regarding volume and price to assign existing and potential customers. The KAM has the mandate to perform business agreements according to defined corporate policies and frames.
As a Key Account Manager you will be a member of the team for Protection global sales and report to the Sales Director. You will also work closely with SSABs Regional Sales Managers (Main Stream Sales organization) in some markets.
Your qualifications
As a person you have a high degree of individual drive, are structured, customer focused and are capable of coordinating your activities whilst travelling, which could involve up to 100 days per annum. The job requires analytical skills, strong ability to work independently, and also capacity to coordinate numerous activities. You will work according to SSAB´s values and our Cultural Compass.
You have an university degree or a high school degree in Business Administration, Economics and / or Engineering. Verbal, reading and writing skills in English are required and additional language would be an advantage.
