In order to continue the growth of our Special Steels Division, we are looking for full time Sales Development Manager. In this position you will have a key role into expanding the market for SSAB Special Steels by exploring existing, new applications and segments as well as new business opportunities, new leads and new prospects. It is an international team so placement is optional.
About the position
The role will have exciting spread from strategic deployment work through market analyses, market size modelling to business development and implementation. Sales Development has the task to support sales on how to enhance value based sales. At present this is done through different initiatives from introduction and onboarding of new employees, content generation on products and services, Ad-hoc trainings (by industry segment and/or commercial excellence), Sales Enablement, CRM development, eCommerce, advanced sales training, market analysis and other projects/campaigns.
In this position you will have the responsibility to develop the existing sales processes & tools we use, but also to find new and improved possibilities in order to even better prepare our sales organization towards sales excellence.
You will report to the Head of Sales Development Manager. It is not a managerial position. You may travel about 40% of your time when situation allows.
Your qualifications
To be successful we believe that you have a University degree in technology, engineering, marketing or similar and that you have relevant work experience which has given you a good market understanding. It is a merit if you have worked with strategy, analyses and market development before.
As a person you will need to be market oriented, able to act and work independent as well as with colleagues and teams at all levels in the division. You have a drive to develop things, are creative and self-propelled. You need to have professional communication skills and high ability to present information in a succinct format.
You are competent with CRM, Sales Enablement & Computer applications. You are fluent in English.
