About the position
We are seeking a manager with leadership experience and great interest in finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential. To be part of Global Business Services means that you work towards delivering common, harmonized and cost efficient services (shared services) to Divisions, Group Finance as well as to other internal and external customers. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a service organization in an interesting phase. During the spring of 2021 SSAB insource finance processes (purchase invoice handling) which mean closer interfaces and collaboration with Polish colleagues. You will be a leader for a team that continuously grow stronger through individual and team knowledge, competence and collaboration.
GBS is a group support function that deliver services in the area of Finance, Sales and Purchase support.
Key tasks of the role
As Service Manager for Purchase invoices and freight in Sweden your main tasks are to lead, manage and develop people and teams according to SSAB criteria. The team is working to ensure correctness in accounts payable, invoice processing and period end closing of Accounts Payable. In daily work you and your team both support and challenge ways of working and this requires you to be proactive and professional. Continuous improvement work and project involvement are part of the teams daily work.
You will be responsible for daily service delivery related to purchase invoices insuring cost efficiency and quality. You will contribute to development of processes together with colleagues in the whole GBS (Sweden, Poland and Finland) and with main internal customers such as Procurement, Divisional Finance and other business owners. You will establish and manage good relationships with all these internal customers.
You will report to GBS Country Manager Sweden and be part of the GBS Sweden management team.
Travelling is part of work.
Your qualifications
University/Bachelor degree or similar
Knowledge and experience of financial processes and customer services
Manager experience is a merit
Experience from accounts payable processes and/or freight invoice handling
Leadership and collaboration skills
Fluent in English
Good communication skills
Business understanding skills
