Stagehands and Event Crew

Introduction:

Stagehands and Event Crew help to prepare for Concerts, Events in Arenas, Theaters, Mässan and Clubs.

If you want a job with lots of variety, have good practical skills and can work as part of a team, this could be the job for you. The job would involve some heavy lifting and some thinking. You would work with an experienced crew that would assist you with your daily tasks.________________________________________
Work activities:

As a Stagehand/Event Crew, your tasks could include:

. Loading and unloading equipment.
. Help to build and put up scenery.
. Moving scenery, furniture and heavy items during performances.
. Clearing the stage or studio and backstage area at the end of the performance.

You would work as part of a team under the direction of a Supervisor, Technical Manager or Stage Manager.

Your hours would vary according to the needs of Stagefright AB.

Entry requirements:

You don't need any formal qualifications to work as a Stagehand/Event Crew.

You will learn on the job from experienced crew.

Skills, Interests and Qualities:

As a stagehand/Event Crew, you will need:

. Good physical fitness and Stamina.
. The ability to work well as part of a team.
. Good practical skills.
. The ability to work under pressure.
. An interest in theatre and live performance.
. As an advantage also Fork Lift, Wheel-Loader and Driver's License.
. Being Punctual is Vital.
. Fluent in Swedish and/or English.
