Start-up Engineer, Chemical pulping process

We are now looking for Start-up Engineer to chemical pulping to work with start-ups of the process equipment and production lines mainly in the cooking plants. You will also be in a key role in moving our customer?s performance forward by identifying and proposing process improvements based on audits and studies at customer?s mills around the world. Improvement project might be e.g. modifying existing or installing new machines or testing new ways of the operation.

As a Start-up Engineer your tasks will include:
- Commissioning and start-up of delivered process equipment
- Process studies and audits at the mills
- Performing! serv ice tasks and trouble shootings
- Working as a technical sales support
- Delivering the feedback from the mills to our organization
- Giving presentations and training to clients personnel


Requirements: Who would succeed in the role?

To be a successful Start-up Engineer you need to have a strong process knowledge to be able to participate in development projects and optimize the process equipment. You also need excellent communication and negotiation skills.

To succeed in this role you will also need to have:
- Will and skill to work effectively with our customers also in demanding and stressful situations.
- Strong educational background, preferable M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or in Pulp and Paper Technology.
- Long and practical experience of pulp and paper area.
- Possibility to travel at the work even in longer periods and fluent English.
