As the leading provider of mission critical market infrastructure solutions, the Market Technology business in Nasdaq is in the center of industry transformation where technologies such as cloud, DLT, and machine learning are redefining traditional operational models when markets move to cloud.
Reporting to the SVP and Head of Product Management, the Strategic Business Development Manager is an integral member of the MIT management team responsible for the development, implementation and execution of strategies that contribute to MIT´s strategic business goals.
In this role you will:
Key responsibilities attributed to this function will be to manage the evolution of the Nasdaq Blueprint for how to establish next generation of markets in cloud. The Blueprint will include a broad array of artefacts across advisory on business strategy, product, culture and organization, and the actual implementation approach.
As a thought-leader, the Strategic Business Development Manager will represent Nasdaq’s vision for next generation markets and engage C-level executives, IT Professionals, and influences at all levels within our clients’ organization to advise on transformation based on strong understanding of ROI, business value, benefits, and challenges.
The role will also include leading business intelligence activities to identify new business opportunities and partnerships that supports the transformation to cloud and SaaS, as well as supporting in-market M&A activities in collaboration with the corporate strategy team.
This role will work closely with the Heads of the respective Product Lines, regional sales and account managers, and the company wide- innovation and strategy community.
Furthermore you will:
Formulate business strategy and work with cross functional team to establish priorities and execution plans.
Coordinate all phases of product development for the Cloud Blueprint, including research and design, financing, pricing, marketing, and go to market strategies. Develop overall product objectives and strategy and further product development.
Lead business intelligence activities to identify new business opportunities and partnerships that support the transformation to cloud and SaaS

We expect you to have:
15+ years in capital market with understanding of market structure and broader eco-system
Previous experience operating across global business theaters with a comfort in working across diverse cultures.
Cloud or other IT experience with managed service providers
MBA or equivalent relevant business experience
Executive level facilitator
