"Volvo Cars IT Product Development" is responsible for methods,information, applications and IT infrastructure supporting the development
of new cars and their manufacturing processes. We are working closely together with the involved business process representatives and we have
actively participated in taking Volvo Cars into a leading position of automotive development working methodology. We have a relatively small,
experienced core team of employees, but we manage altogether around 200people for development, maintenance and support.

Job Description

Strategic specialist in the CAD and DMU visualization area.
Responsible for strategic solutions for the area, including
Visualization Tools
CAD formats for Interoperability
Web-based Collaboration
High End Visualization
Manages the overall IT portfolio of visualization applications, including cycle planning, prioritization and governance
Benchmarks industry trends for future and strategy development efforts

Qualifications

High experience in CAD tools from working with CAD in the automotive industry.
Project management skills are required.
Good communication skills, including a high level in spoken and written English.
Good interpersonal skills and a team player
