THE POSITION
We are currently searching for a Strategic Purchaser who will be responsible for sourcing of direct materials. This covers a broad range of commodities such as metals, rubber, plastics and assembled products. You will be part of our Global Sourcing team based in Karlskrona. Global Sourcing is responsible for sourcing of all our products and services worldwide. As part of our expertise and service, we identify and qualify new suppliers and develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers. Some of our key performance indicators include quality, flexibility, lead-time, price competitiveness, environmental consciousness and business sustainability.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify and qualify new suppliers
• Participate in internal cross-functional teams to understand needs and requirements
• Prepare inquiries, evaluate quotations, negotiate prices and conclude agreements
• Continuously evaluate suppliers against our key performance indicators


Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering, economics or similar
• Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement activities
• Basic commercial, contractual and logistical understanding
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Driver’s license (B)
