Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job description
At Randstad Engineering we have a concultancy contract for approximately 1 year with the possibility of extension. Please note this role demands fluency in the Swedish language. The location for the position is in Täby, Stockholm.

- You will drive strategic planning and the category sourcing process. Responsible for agreements, category management, supplier relation management, spend analysis, negotiations etc. 
- You have a high competence and at least 5+ years work experience within current field. With overall guidance, works independently. 
- Fluent in verbal and written Swedish is a must!

Responsibilities
- The main objective will be to secure all material needs and reduce cost for complete segment turnover given that the quality, sustainability and delivery targets are met in close and in good corporation with the internal customers.
-  You will be responsible for all running business as well as challenging, developing and optimizing the  global supplier base in your segments.  Among your main task will be creating and drive strategic plans and activities to improve the quality, delivery precision and total cost of your product range. 
- You will lead supplier negotiations, present results and decisions, and conclude commercial agreements in order to create the best value for the company. 
- Close cooperation internal and external is necessary to reach best results and secure the needs and demands for the segment and for the company.

Qualifications
- To excel in this position you should be a team player with natural leadership skills. 
- You are positive, communicative and have a pedagogic, creative and proactive approach to issues and tasks with strong result focus.
-  You are commercially driven passionate about doing business, solution oriented and comfortable in presenting business cases. 
- It’s also very important that you feel comfortable with making demands and that you can challenge your stakeholders and suppliers when needed. You’re well organized and analytical, thrive in a high tempo and dynamic environment.
-  A Master of Science in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
