Strategic Purchaser - Purchase department The Job As a central department within Supply Chain, the Purchase department is responsible for sourcing and purchasing of components to our analytical solutions.The Purchase department is divided into 3 key areas, working with operational, project and Strategic Purchasing.You will be responsible for key commodity groups on a strategic level, coordinating efforts with your operational and project colleagues.You will also have operational responsibility for some key areas.Sourcing and Purchasing - delivering results You will be responsible for: . Managing your commodity groups in a way that is consistent with the overall logistic strategy.. Head negotiations and audits of suppliers.. Be an active player in solving day-to day issues with the supplier together with the operational purchaser . Support the Project purchasers in the product development process.. Refining and updating existing procedures and business processes to increase efficiency and performance internally, as well as externally.. Participating in Projects within the Supply Chain organisation . Operational responsibility for some key areas.Qualifications A candidate for this position must meet the following requirements: . As a minimum hold bachelor's degree in a relevant area . Have 5+ yrs working experience with Sourcing and/or purchasing with documented results . Documented project involvement and/or project management experience . Experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and with ERP systems (SAP) .
