Strategy Analyst

Arbetsbeskrivning

Right now, Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is looking for a systematic and visionary professional to join us as Strategy Analyst. Are you eager to learn and develop together with a strong market leader? Then this is a great opportunity for you!

We have an exciting business, delivering cutting edge products and solutions to our mining and construction customers across the globe. In 2019, Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology had around 14 000 employees within nine divisions, and a total revenue of 45 billion SEK. Working as a Strategy Analyst with us, we’re proud to offer you a diverse workplace where innovation, collaboration and flexibility really matters.

Your mission – supporting our business from strategy and data to execution and impact
As a Strategy Analyst, you support our Business Area and Division strategic initiatives and bring structure, insights, improvements and analytical firepower to projects. You join initiatives together with stakeholders from across the business, and proactively engage with them to identify opportunities and gaps where improved strategic clarity will create value. You take responsibility for scoping and delivering work packages including data preparation and analysis, business case development, customer interviews, presentation material and recommendation development.

This position is based at our headquarters – World Trade center – in Stockholm.

Your character – an unpretentious doer who moves easily across all levels of an organization
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance, combined with demonstrated competence and skills in financial analysis, customer business planning and general strategy planning and execution. Experience from working in cross-functional global teams is beneficial. You might come directly from school, but we believe you have practiced and polished your skills during relevant “management consulting type” internships or summer jobs. If in the same or similar industry as ours, it’s all the better. As we operate in a truly global setting, you’re fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, while skills in Swedish are nice to have.

We’re truly fascinated by your personality; characterized by being a self-motivated team player with an ambitious mindset, who likes to balance independent work and personal drive. You have good stakeholder management and communication skills, and know how to interact with large group of stakeholders with different backgrounds and opinions. Furthermore, you have strong self-awareness, leading you to develop yourself and seek continuous feedback.
