Student Resource

Internationella Engelska Skolan Bromma (IESB) is a flagship school which opened its doors to students in 2005.  We are approximately 15 minutes away from the centre of Stockholm and are well connected with transport links to other Stockholm suburbs. We have an ambitious student body consisting of 940 students from ages 10-16 and have a diverse teaching staff who hail from 23 countries. We are looking for a student support person to work with students who do not have modern foreign languages class or other needs in the form one to one support and or to work in small groups.  

You should be fluent in Swedish and English, and you would be able to support students both inside and outside of their regular classroom or lessons. One of your strengths is flexibility and finding creative solutions to work with and support students. While previous experience in a similar role is not a requirement, candidates who can demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently are preferred. The Ideal person will also be organised and a good communicator. These skills are necessary as the role will involve collaborating with subject teachers to deliver the best possible support for students. All students use laptops, so good computer skills are an advantage.
