Student Assistant

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group ("friskola") with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. The main duties of the PE Assistant are:

- Support IES Älvsjö PE teachers during off-site lessons:
- Building positive relationships with the students
- Enforce school rights and responsibilities
- Encourage a calm, safe orderly environment at all times
- Ensure that students have clear guidelines on what is expected during lessons
- Work with students who may need extra support
- Support Student Care Resource team
- Promote loyalty to the vision and values of the school

Skills

- Experience of working well with others or as part of a team
- Bilingual with English and Swedish
- Basic understanding of student care and pedagogy

Clearance from the police register is essential.

IES Älvsjö is a school for grades 4-9 with approx. 760 students and a staff body of about 80 members. The school is situated very close to Stockholm city center with direct access from the pendeltåg station.
