Description:
Thesis work: Robust 3d A-stay mounting.
Rear axle mounting to vehicle has a vulnerable/critical screw joint. When failing it has severe and costly consequences for the vehicle. We would like you to design different design concepts for a more robust design or to add redundancy to the screw joint.
The work includes problem analysis and to understand effect from production variances, concept design of new solutions and performance evaluation, 3D-CAD, FEA-calculations, etc.
Suitable Background: Mechanical Engineering
