Subject Matter Expert (SME) Diagnostics and SWDL – Service Engineering LYNK & CO

This position is a new and exciting role which provides ample opportunity to start-up and work within the newly created Workshop Applications team within Service Engineering – a job with close connection to the markets. You will be one of the first persons joining this team so you will play a key role to achieve the attributes of connectivity and diagnostics with a huge impact on customer satisfaction.

Assignment Description:

The Subject Matter Expert is the reference person within the diagnostic knowledge domain and act as a link for internal, external customers, end-users and development teams. The SME must act as the ambassador for the knowledge area and use their expertise to support the diagnostic strategic direction.

Key responsibilities:

- Drive the work with diagnostic strategies
- Actively work with our team and other internal stakeholders to develop the diagnostic strategies
- Secure that new development projects follow the diagnostic strategies
- Support and drive improvements and innovations in the Subject Matter Area.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with at least five years of experience within diagnostic aftermarket, with deep knowledge of automotive aftermarket business, dealer/workshop solutions. It’s needed to have good understanding of process and solution dependencies and interfaces.

To be successful - this positions requires good interpersonal skills with the ability to encourage and manage people with a multicultural background. The most valuable thing for us is that you enjoy working in a fast paced changing environment. It is necessary to be driven, communicative and structured with a customer and possess a business mindset. You should enjoy seeing problems as challenges and look for solutions.

The position requires several years of automotive related diagnostic experience to be able to handle this challenge.

The role requires ability to travel, mostly to China and as we are global your English should be excellent – both oral and written.
