Exploration department is recruiting extra personnel
Summer Geologists Sweden
3-4 months during 2022 starting date in the beginning June
Job duties
Exploration activities to be carried out in Central or Northern Sweden. Work duties will be geological exploration work. The tasks are normally geochemical sampling, field reconnaissance, bedrock mapping and drill core logging, as well as compilation of information and reporting.
Work can be physically strenuous where you will need to carry field equipment and samples in variable weather conditions, as well as walk through rolling forest terrain. You will work both independently and in a group. Boliden will arrange for accommodation during the employment.
Education and experience
We are looking for people with ongoing or newly completed university education in geology with interest in mineral exploration. You should be self-managing, service oriented and creative, and have the ability to cooperate with others. We require good knowledge of Swedish or English and a class B driving license.
