SUMMER SITE / SAFETY WORK LEADER

The available role is a full time position in an internationally renouned festival and course center focused on personal growth. It runs from June through August. This is an onsite position, meaning that you will be living at Ängsbacka. The duties of Summer Site and Safety Workleader require someone who is both practically skilled and a people person who enjoys working with volunteers and holding space for learning and people of varied skill levels.


Ensures legal compliance with safety standards by monitoring and implementing applicable health and safety federal and state requirements.
Primarily communicates with Site workleader, Summer site workleader, Festival Office workleader, Volunteer office workleader, Human Resources and site coordinators
Hold the Summer site’s budget be responsible for orders and stocks
Build a positive team dynamic that promotes balance and compassion for staff, volunteers as well as participants
Maintains the work structure by updating job task lists and supporting documents and teaching needed info to coordinators
Works to resolve conflicts within the team, holding accountability practices, planning, monitoring, and appraising work results.
Update the budget tool as invoices are received
The site team also serves the festival workshops needs, special requests and general festival logistics as needed
