Sunshine capital of NZ - become an Au Pair

Antal barn: 1 Var: 2002Nelson REF#: 2002Nelson Om familjen: To Our New Au Pair We are the Beuker family, Marcus, Suzanne and baby Katherine.We have recently moved to Nelson, New Zealand, after around 18 months living and traveling in Europe. Life is different and more challenging now that we have a baby, but we still try to be very active and enjoy fun times together when we are not working.I work part-time, around 30 hours a week, and occasionally am called back to work in the evenings for an hour or so.I work as a surgeon which is sometimes stressful but is very rewarding.I love my baby very much and part of the reason that I have chosen to have an au pair, is so that Katherine can be looked after at home by someone that we know and trust.When I am not working or looking after the baby I enjoy reading, walking, yoga and going to the beach.We often take visits to the forest or beach on our days off and usually try to take Katherine and our current au pair, Flora.Marcus is a police officer and is just going back to work next week after having some time off to spend with Katherine.Marcus enjoys golf, riding his mountain bike and obviously spending time with me and Katherine.He works variable hours and sometimes has days off during the week and might work the weekend instead.Katherine is a very happy and healthy little girl, now 7 months old.She is very interactive, loves being read to, playing with her toys, going for a walk or to the swimming pool.She has just started going to swimming lessons on Saturday morning.We also take her once a week to a playgroup so that she can spend some time with other children.We live in a new 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on the edge of Nelson.Nelson is a vibrant small town, with good shops, cafes, restaurants and an active music and art culture.It is surrounded by beautiful beaches, forests and vineyards.We are looking forward to meeting our new au pair and for you to become part of our family.We want to work together to keep a tidy house and a happy baby.Usually we will ask you to look after Katherine between 3-6 hours a day.Most weekends you will have fress.We may ask you to cook dinner once a week and sometimes help with the food shopping.We have a cleaner who comes once a week to take care of the house, but we would like you to help with Katherine's clothes, vacuum once a week, keep the house tidy and take care of your own bedroom and bathroom.In exchange for that we want you to feel totally relaxed in our house.It is YOUR home for a year.You have your own large room, bathroom, bicycle and live in a new sunny house in the sunshine capital of New Zealand We hope that you will have a wonderful year in New Zealand, make new friends and have some memorable adventures.We look forward to talking to you soon.
