Supervisor Maintenance - Olofström

The department, consists of service technicians both electrical and mechanical, in several shifts that covers manning 7x24 h. The responsibility area are maintenance of different type of presses, cutting lines and mechanization, both preventive maintenance and brake down maintenance. Our strategy is to work according to Value Drive Maintenance (VDM).

As Supervisor Maintenance - Olofström you will coach your team in the process of setting targets, follow up their delivery and see to that those corrective actions exists for deviations. You will secure the daily communication in between the team members and the customer (Production) and the Superintendent Maintenance during for example daily morning meetings, team meetings, start-ups (in between shifts) and management meetings. You will coach and follow up the delivery of planned work orders and support the team in continuous improvement and the usage of problem solving tools. You will also be a role model in security and risk management, react on risk deviations according to legal security or other safety instructions. As a member of the management team you will contribute to the development of StampingMaintenance by liaise with other supervisors and departments of Stamping Maintenance.

Main responsibilities

* Operative responsible for delivering the required activities to ensure that products and services are delivered on time and according to quality standards and customer satisfaction, both personally and by training and coaching your teams to deliver the overall teams targets.
* Ensure the usage of the correct amount of resources (material, machines and personnel) and take due care to minimise their impact on the environment.
* To act by, communicate and role model the Volvo Cars values and company philosophy in line with the working principles and behaviours.
* Be responsible for the planning and implementation of Volvo Car Manufacturing System (VCMS) and VDM in your teams and working area.

Required qualifications

* B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
* Experience from a manager or a leadership position
* Knowledge from organisation and change management
* Experience from Maintenance and VDM is meritorious
* Experience from lean production and other production working systems is meritorious

* Diplomatic and strong communication skills
