Supplier Coordinator to Global packaging company

About the role
As Supplier Coordinator you will be responsible for local Supply Management activities and convert factories in line with strategies, processes and KPI´s. You will identify and implement cost savings initiatives and also track and report supplier performance, including support supplier development and performance improvement. The role also focuses on supporting the operational purchasing team whenever required.

As a Supplier Coordinator your major responsibilities include:

• Drive sourcing and contracting activities as per strategies for your assigned categories with a view to unlock values, reduce risks and successfully address requests from internal stakeholders
• Support the local Supply management team in delivering regional/global projects locally where required
• Build and follow-up on detailed action plans to achieve assigned yearly KPI´s for relevant categories/factories
• Actively engage with stakeholders across the business at local and global levels, building strong relationships and ensuring an early involvement of Supply management in projects
• Ensure the company´s master data on assigned suppliers and contracts is maintained and continuously up-to-date

The role as Supplier Coordinator is a consultant assignment for 12 months, with start as soon as possible. The office is based in Lund.

About you
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in Economics, Logistics or Business management or other relevant area and who has minimum 3 years´ work experience in a similar role in an international environment. You have excellent skills in communication and negotiation and you have an energetic and structured approach. To succeed in this role you also need to be able to influence cross-functionally at all levels and have the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. You also take ownership and have a high drive for results.

Qualities we´re looking for in this role:

• Academic degree in Economics/Logistics/Business management or other relevant area
• Minimum 3 years´ work experience from a similar role, in an international environment
• Fluency in English and one Nordic language
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience in SAP as ERP system and Ariba in e-procurement is an advantage
• Experience from the food industry is an advantage but no requirement
