Supplier Development Engineer

We employ 290 people in Örebro.We also have Product Companies in Garland Texas, Yokohama Japan, Nanjing and Zhangjakaou China and Nasik India.We employs 1300 people worldwide incl.our Sales Companies.The division develops, manufactures, and markets worldwide rock drilling equipment for various applications in civil engineering, quarries and open pit mines.The division focuses strongly on innovative product design and aftermarket support systems, which gives added customer value. Job description We are now looking for a person who wants to take an active part in our job to strengthen and renew our quality work to new levels.One important part is to secure the quality as early as possible in the chain and this work will be done more and more together with our suppliers. Quality Assurance - Define criterias for supplier control - Secure claim routines and supplier action follow up system Owner of supplier quality follow up systems (Follow up supplier performance) - Supplier quality development, proactive (continuously improvements) - Supplier quality development, reactive (Require corrective actions and follow ups) - Responsible for tool measuring quality improvement and return rate from suppliers Running field situation issues towards suppliers Experience requirements You have some years experience from quality auditor or similar.Educational requirements You have a technically-oriented universitee degree or equivalent experience.It s an advantage if you also have black belt training or similar.You must have good computerskills and be fluent in both written and spoken English. Personality requirements The person we are looking for should be well structured and quality minded, good in people communication, assertive, open minded and getting the job done.
