Business Area Foundation Brake with Haldex Brake Products AB is a part of Commercial Vehicle System, which consists of 2500 employees.The Landskrona site consists of 760 employees of which 536 belong to Foundation Brake.The sourcing function is based in Landskrona with four strategic purchasers.There are also purchasers in the USA, Brazil, India and China.The manager of the sourcing function is situated in Landskrona.For more information, please visit www.haldex.com SUPPLIER QUALITY ASSURANCE for HALDEX BRAKE PRODUCTS As a step in the process of getting more quality at a lesser cost Haldex continuously strives to achieve a sharper and smarter way of working with suppliers.For this purpose Haldex Brake Products need to hire a key person to take on the responsibility of the Supplier Quality Assurance function. Key tasks and responsibilities As responsible for the Strategic Quality Assurance your main tasks will be to handle all quality issues that derives from suppliers. This means that you will mainly contribute when a: .new supplier is evaluated .new project influences existing production .new product is to be produced by an existing supplier .supplier has a record of bad performance which leads to quality issues This means that you will run supplier evaluations and revisions.You will do approx.20 full revisions a year.Another important task will be to work with the suppliers to help optimize their performance.This means being an active part in the development of the supplier's processes.The goal being to increase performance and cut costs.The position includes approx 80 days of travel.Education You have an engineering education from at least upper secondary school, preferably in mechanical engineering.If you have a university degree or equivalent in engineering this is a strong benefit.
