Supply and Transportation Analyst

ValueOne is looking for a Supply and Transportation Analyst for a six month assignment at our customer´s premises in Malmö, in the south of Sweden. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.

The role

The role as Supply and Transportation Analyst means that you will work in the company´s planning department. Primarily you will work towards the markets and provide regular updates regarding product availability. Your task is to compile, visualize and communicate the sales availability of manufactured products at designated distribution warehouses. This includes keeping track on lead times on transports and quality.

Main tasks:

Follow-up actual production outcomes vs plan from both internal and external manufacturing sites throughout EMEA.Gather and visualize data around inbound transports into the distribution warehouses, containing detailed information around products, quantities, and day of arrival.Consolidate the above stated data making it relevant to stakeholders throughout the organization and communicate the inbound transport plan to regional Supply Chain Managers.Trace and follow up any deviation towards plan on a daily basis. Keep track and report on relevant KPI´s as well as identifying and highlighting areas of improvement within the field of responsibility.Other various tasks or activities that are aligned with the Supply Department.

Experience and competence

We are looking for an experienced supply planner and coordinator, preferably in the FMCG segment, with a Master´s degree in a relevant field and a proven record of working with transport coordination and replenishment planning. The assignment demands a solid knowledge in Excel, as well as ERP and BI applications. Furthermore, the role requires well developed analytical skills, good problem solving capabilities and an eye for detail. You must be fluent in Swedish, spoken and written, as well as in English.
