Your mission
As the Supply Chain Data Engineer for the implementation of our new Global Planning System (GPS), you are responsible for setting up a high quality integration between our ERP systems and GPS. You work in a challenging project with ambitious time lines supporting multiple work streams with their implementations and roll-outs. You work in a cross-functional implementation team with business experts, solution architects, integration architects, ERP consultants, developers and so on. You help the business improve data quality by visualizing and tracking data quality and thereby securing smooth go-lives.

You have a significant impact on key planning KPIs by ensuring we do our planning based on the best possible data quality. You understand our different ERP systems and the connections between them. You combine business insight and technical skills with an analytical, precise and thoroughly structured approach to modelling and building the data flow.

You will also review functional GPS specifications, consult the implementation experts and collect sample data for GPS development and API development. You will do mapping of GPS data requirements and business rules to the various source systems along with the GPS planning proposals towards the execution systems. Furthermore you will support the Master Data Governance team in the development of the Epiroc common data model.


Your profile
To succeed in this role you shall have a strong personal drive, with the ability to work independently. You are customer focused, proactive and results-oriented. You have great communication skills both in speech and writing and use the network around you to achieve results. You are technology savvy, analytical, and like to identify improvement opportunities and better ways of doing things. It is important that you have a structural way of working and can manage multiple project plans and activities. You have an interest in working internationally and have excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of different cultures. Willingness to travel occasionally.

You have a University degree in Information Systems Engineering, Economics/Business Administration, Supply chain/Logistics, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent experience. We believe you have experience in supply chain planning domain for a global manufacturing company along with experience with ERP systems, preferably M3 or BPCS. You have experience with ETL / data analytics / database development / data modelling tools / data processing.

As our corporate language is English, strong English communication skills both verbal and written is required.
