The Field Inventory and Logistics Lead functions in a dual role capacity. The Field Inventory Lead is a key planning and inventory control position managing field inventory for optimized utilization, reduced field expiration and cycle count integrity, managing cycle count process of field inventory and all related SOX compliance needs. This individual will establish inventory utilization turn targets for both trunk stock and consignment inventory. In addition, the Logistics Lead will be responsible for inbound and outbound shipments within Europe, the different affiliate offices and our headquarters in the U.S. Leverage Logistics methodology and tools to proactively conduct spend analysis, develop Logistics strategies for European countries specifics, evaluate / select carriers, and execute performance-based contracts to drive productivity, improve performance, and ensure logistics continuity.

RESPONSIBILITY OF POSITION:
Main point of contact for our distribution and logistics:
Planning & Forecasting.
Optimize Inventory Utilization/working cross-functionally with EU Inventory Analyst .
Field Inventory Cycle Count -functionally with EU Inventory Analyst.
Process improvement -functionally with EU Inventory Analyst.
Logistics coordination.
Launch new products and transition obsolete products (with Marketing and Customer Service).

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION
Bachelor degree in business or related field; or minimum 10 years experience in a related position.

EXPERIENCE
10+ years experience in customer service or asset management.
Experience with min/max planning and logistics a plus
Knowledge in distribution and experience in analyzing inventory report data
Understanding about marketing & forecasting will be an addition

SKILLS
Strong analytical and data mining skill set
Proficiency in JDE applications, Cognos, DRP system and Microsof Office suite of applications
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
Communicates effectively and demonstrates excellent organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational/communication skills able to manage multiple demands
Demonstrated attention to detail and problem solving capabilities
Ability to take initiative and effectively work under pressure
