Supply Chain Manager

ValueOne is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for our customer OssDsign in Uppsala. The role

As Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the Supply Chain function including Planning & Logistics, Inventory, Procurement and Supplier Management. You will lead, manage, and optimize end to end supply chain processes from raw materials to delivery of final products including third party logistics providers and custom clearance. You will be a central figure within the organization, working closely with R&D, Quality and Finance.

You report to the Vice President Operations and R&D.

Remote work is possible part of the time.

International traveling to some extent is included.

Main tasks:

Ensure an uninterrupted supply chain to continuously meet increasing customer demands and support future growth.
Secure reliable demand and supply forecasting, inventory management and capacity management through effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Plan, execute and follow-up sourcing and operational procurement activities.
Lead tactical response to supply chain challenges impacting service performance, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
Identify, qualify, and develop a competitive and reliable network of suppliers, including contract manufacturers.
Negotiate and implement compliant and commercially sound framework agreements.
Asses, develop, and improve material flow, material-handling and warehousing processes for raw material and finished products.
Monitor performance metrics for suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery. requirements, and drive supplier development in collaboration with stakeholders.

Experience and competencies

To be successful in this role we believe you have multi-year experience from supply chain/procurement and vendor management in a regulated environment, preferably within MedTech.

You have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering/ Management/Commercial law or other relevant area in combination with significant professional experience. A master’s degree in the same areas as above is meritorious. The role furthermore requires that you are knowledgeable in contract management and used to negotiating with suppliers. We expect you to be fluent in Swedish and English, oral and written. You have international experience, as well as project management experience. As a person you are culturally aware. It’s a plus if you have team leader experience.

The person we are looking for should be self-propelled and self-motivated with a high sense of urgency. You are quality minded and have an eye for details. Additionally, you are a person who is analytical, meticulous combined with an ability of seeing the full context and not only the details. To thrive in the role, you need to be a collaborative team player and have strong communication skills. You are adaptable, patient, and persistent, as well as not afraid of confronting other people.
