Supply Chain Manager

About the role
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our international customer in Lund who will join the team for 5 months. Supplier Management is the procurement function responsible for sourcing, contracting, and managing their supplier base. They are managing the procurement capability growth, direct supplier management, and the development of Global Category Strategies. Supplier Management also supports all Processing Solutions & Equipment projects and installations, securing the seamless delivery of integrated offerings. The Supplier Management team ensures that they have a high-performing supplier base and clear category strategies.

For our customer, we are searching for a Supplier Manager within the client´s electrical cabinet area.The role as Supply Chain Manager is a consultant assignment for approximately 5 months with starting date 2022.06.06. The office is based in Lund. 

As a Supply Chain Manager your major responsibilities includes:

• Supplier relationships
• Negotiations
• Finding and realizing cost reduction opportunities
• Ensuring supplier performance with regards to on time deliveries and compliance with general internal requirements
• You will also contribute to category strategy creation and be part of the implementation of these
• Support re-sourcing processes through the preparation, analysis and consolidation of RFIs and RfQs documents

Skill Requirements
• Experience from Supplier Management function in an international global context (will be considered a plus.)
• The position demands a good level of commercial, relational and negotiation skills.
• It is required a good/advanced level of Excel.

Education:
• University degree within Economics or Engineering.

Soft skills:
• As a person you are results-oriented, self-driven, and have strong communication skills.
• To build and maintain successful relations with stakeholders comes naturally to you. You can get others to see and believe your points, and you are analytical, methodical, and efficient.
