Supply Chain Manager

ValueOne is looking for a Supply Chain Manager for a longer consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Lund, Skåne. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.  

The role  

As Supply Chain Manager you will be part of the company´s North Europe Team working with the Nordics and Baltics. You will be responsible for delivering and ensuring end to end sourcing, contracting and performance. You will also be part of developing and implementing sourcing strategies and category strategies as well as contract frameworks. Apart from this your responsibility covers cost, quality, delivery and service performance. Additionally the role includes responsiblity for savings reporting, control and follow-up.

Main tasks:

Drive sourcing and contracting activities with project teams.
Prepare and negotiate agreements.
Drive the optimization of the supplier base and supplier performance.
Drive accuracy of master data on suppliers, contracts and materials.
Support the daily operational purchasing team.

Experience and competencies  

The ideal candidate for the assignment should have experience from a purchasing role in an international environment, preferably with an engineering background or with some experiences in an engineering company. The role also requires a degree in Economics, Logistics, or Business Management or relevant area. Experience from food industry is desirable but not essential. Proficiency in English and one other Nordic language is a must, experience of another Nordic language is desirable. We want you to be familiar with MS Office and have knowledge in SAP.

The person we are looking for should have excellent negotiation and communication skills and feel comfortable evolving in a technical environment. You are an autonomous self-starter, energetic and able to influence cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders. Furthermore, you are goal oriented with a strong inner drive to succeed.
