Supply Chain Manager to Global packaging company

About the role
As Supply Chain Manager you will be in the front to deliver Supply Management profession throughout Nordics and Baltics as part of the North Europe team. You will deliver and ensure end to end sourcing, contracting and performance. You will also be part of developing and implementing sourcing strategies, initiatives in purchasing categories and contract frameworks to put the company ahead of competition.

As a Supply Chain Manager your major responsibilities include:

• Drive sourcing and contracting activities with project teams
• Prepare and negotiate agreements
• Be responsible for implementing category strategies and also cost, quality, delivery and service performance
• Drive the optimization of the supplier base and supplier performance
• Drive accuracy of master data on suppliers, contracts and materials
• Responsible for savings reporting, control and follow-up
• Support the daily operational purchasing team

The role as Supply Chain Manager is a consultant assignment for 12 months, with start as soon as possible. The office is based in Lund.

About you
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in Economics, Logistics or Business management or other relevant area. You have excellent skills in communication and negotiation and you have an energetic and structured approach. To succeed in this role you also need to be able to influence cross-functionally at all levels and have the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. You also take ownership and have a high drive for results.

Qualities we´re looking for in this role:

• Academic degree in Economics/Logistics/Business management or other relevant area
• Fluency in English and one Nordic language
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience in SAP
• Experience from a purchasing role in an international environment
• Engineering background or experience from an engineering company is an advantage but no requirement
