Supply Chain Planning Specialist

We are looking for a passionate Supply Chain Planning Specialist dedicated to global Supply Chain Planning team within Alfa Laval Parts, Distribution and Logistics (PDL) located in DC Tumba.

About the job

You are part of the global team Supply Chain Planning. You will be responsible for:
* Developing and performing global spare part inventory planning and optimization including demand forecasting, inventory analysis and item reclassification
* Providing support and analysis to our internal customers for the questions related to master data, inventory management and supply chain set up
* Running projects and improvement activities (e.g. Lean Six Sigma projects) for operational excellence
* Actively participating in global projects related to spare part inventory strategies
* Maintaining master data in our ERP system related to inventory management
* Delivering reports for Inventory management performance measurements.

You help bring our group forward according to our goals. It requires a good ability to work over departmental boundaries, to develop close relationships with stakeholders at all levels and that you are a genuine problem solver.

What you can
* Working experience in supply chain, logistics and/or inventory planning
* Experience in spare parts inventory management is an advantage
* Academic degree within a relevant subject e.g. logistics, supply chain management  
* Project management skills or Lean Six Sigma knowledge
* Excellent in Excel, SQL databases and/or other reporting tools
* Good command of written and spoken English
* Experience from working in an Inventory planning system
* Experience in Movex M3 and/or Microsoft Dynamics is a definite advantage
* Strong analytical capability
* Financial awareness and good numeracy skills
* Attention to details.
