Supply Engineer/analyst

Tooling Supply Round Tools (TSR) is responsible for the supply of all round tools to all brands within Sandvik Tooling.Many major projects are in place to meet Sandvik Tooling's ambitious growth plan, we therefore need to strengthen the organisation with a person that can conduct different types of supply related evaluations and analysis. Key performance areas In the role as supply engineer/analyst you will belong to the Tooling Supply Round Tools team in Sandviken.We are a small team located in Sandviken supporting the TSR organization which is spread around the World.The goals/targets for TSR are very ambitious with a high priority within Sandvik Tooling. The responsibilities of the role include: - Preparation of business cases for initiatives to drive synergies and cost reductions.- Creation of different types of reports to be used as base for decision making.- Preparation of appropriation requests generated by short, middle and long term plans.- Participate in the goal setting process.- Follow up on outcome of larger projects and initiatives.- Take the lead in some of the projects ongoing within TSR or new upcoming projects. Your profile To succeed in this position we believe you have a technical/financial degree and experiences from working with the creation of reports / materials of a complex nature.Analytical skills would be desirable.As most of the organisation is spread around the World the ability to communicate in a global environment and work with different cultures are essential.Travelling is part of the job.
