This supply planner position is part of Business Development Team. The location is in Älmhult.

Supply Planner is responsible for supplier’s logistic performances in a business development team. You work together with business developer and component engineer to secure supplier’s total performances.

As a Supply Planner you will lead and be responsible for various responsibilities:
Secure operational capacities planning with suppliers based on need in a proactive manner.
Identify & proactive planning on any capacity disturbances
Contribute to tactical capacity planning based on supplier performance
Prepare suppliers for best replenishment and delivery solutions by continuously developing supplier delivery performance and sender lead-times.
Contribute to identifying best logistical offer, review & implement by having customer and total cost in mind.
Contribute to planning and execution of the best set-up for range changes at supplier
Secure & improve order flow & supplier delivery performance to secure availability at customers
Lead to develop suppliers’ logistic competence towards becoming responsible on their own: working closely with suppliers, running Supplier Development Projects & providing relevant trainings & working methods.
We are looking for you with knowledge of supplier capabilities, capacity & demand planning. You have good leadership capability to enable suppliers having goods ready in time and in full to fulfil customers’ need at lowest possible landed cost. You are able to translate the Category Plan into logistics solutions and always keep Total IKEA and Total Cost Development in mind.
Minimal 3 years of logistic and supplier management experience
Good communication in English
Proactive and solution oriented
Ability to navigate with multiple stakeholders
Well-organized & manage multiple tasks within given time frame.
Quick learner and good flexibility to adapt to change
Strong data analytical skills
Excellent Microsoft office skills
