Helpdesk, within IKEA IT Delivery, provides IKEA worldwide with professional and service minded IT support on the base of defined Service Level Agreements and is the obvious choice in IT support needs.
Helpdesk at 8 IT Offices is available during agreed times, receive, register, analyzes and prioritizes all support needs. 80% of all cases will be solved within the function, the remaining forwarded to the right IT support group. ProfessionalConsulting are now looking for a Support Analyst to IKEA´s Onsite IT Support team at Helpdesk.

The Support Analyst is a people oriented and service minded person who provides professional IT support to IKEA on the base of defined Service Level Agreements and is the obvious choice in IT support needs. The Support Analyst is the core of the Helpdesk which is the entry point into the IT delivery organization for IKEA´s community of end users in all IT related issues.

As a Support Analyst you will receive and take ownership for all support needs coming in through various support channels. You will register, analyze, prioritize, assign and/or solve all in-coming cases during the agreed time. Further you will perform all daily tasks according to set processes, rules and guidelines. It is in your role to monitor all open support cases, escalate if necessary and keep the end user informed about the solving process. You are responsible for end user communication at IKEA IT delivery. You share knowledge with colleagues, i.e. by using a common knowledge database.

To be successful in this role you need to be service oriented and customer focused. You have a strong interest in the IKEA business and the desire to learn more about the specific business that you will support, this in order to give the user the proper attention.

Furthermore, you have a good technical IT knowledge/interest in general. Experience in installing, configuring and problem shooting in the MS Windows 7 environment is preferred. Experience and knowledge of the Mac OS X environment as well as of problem shooting of LAN Networks is extra qualifying.

You are a person with strong communication skills who has the ability to easily adapt to different situations and persons. You act service minded and professional and put the end-user needs in focus. When representing Helpdesk or the end-user in different forums you have a holistic/global view. You are a team player with the ability to cooperate and share knowledge within your team and other teams in the solving process, e.g. other Helpdesk teams or second level.

You are driven and capable of prioritizing and make quick decisions. In this role you need to be fluent in English both written and spoken.

You will be employed by ProfessionalConsulting and work as a consultant at IKEA and be a permanent member of the Onsite IT Support team in Helsingborg and Älmhult. Initially the primary task will be to support IKEA Industry at the office in Ängelholm until the move to Malmö 2015-09-01. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8-17.
