SciBase, a leading Swedish Medical technology company, has developed an innovated method for improving accuracy in the detection of malignant melanoma. SciBase is in a growing phase and has recently been approved for sales on the U.S market. On behalf of our client SciBase, Academic Work is looking for a Support and Hardware Engineer to join their office in the center of Sundbyberg. Do you want to join their exciting journey ahead?
OM TJÄNSTEN
The Support and Hardware Engineer position with SciBase allows an opportunity managing their customer service as well as working directly with medical technologies and technical hardware. The position as a Support and Hardware Engineer at SciBase is responsible for customer service as well as a working understanding and development of the SciBase product with focus on the electronics. In this valued position working within a cohesive team, the new SciBase team member’s ideas and visions will be encouraged while having the chance to make a positive impact in the client's health.
This SciBase role will have the opportunity to work within a smaller friendly environment of fifteen team colleagues. The newly renovated bright and light office is conveniently located just steps away from public transportation. This position will also work closely with a team of six SciBase sales representatives located in Germany. The Support and Hardware Engineer will have a broad range of varied responsibilities. This role is extremely critical towards the continued growth of SciBase.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
The SciBase Support and Hardware Engineer will work together with customers and colleagues to develop and maintain SciBase products with focus on technology. The position will spend approximately half time supporting and maintaining their customer base and half time towards product development with focus on hardware. This position allows for increased development opportunities as the company grows. The Support and Hardware Engineer will travel to customer’s locations approximately one trip per month, primarily in Germany where SciBase has their main customer base, and occasionally throughout Europe.
Some responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Manage incoming customer issues with professionalism
* Handle documentation and follow-up of customer issues in the system as well as working knowledge and tracking in Excel
* Be a part of the development department while working closely with the sales team, product owners, and application specialists
* Responsible for customer support via the telephone, through email, and occasionally at the customer's locations
SciBase is looking for a humble, willing, and competent team member to offer support of their medical technologies while maintaining a high level of customer relationships. A SciBase team member is a passionate professional with a desire for continuous education and improvement. This position is ideal for those who are self starters, have a willingness to learn, and thrive in a smaller company.
VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Have a master or bachelor degree — or equivalent — within the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics, medical technology or technical physics. Most important is that you have an interest in and knowledge within electronics.
* Have a genuine interest in medical technologies and techniques
* Have good knowledge in Swedish and are fluent in English, both oral and written
* Have a B driving license
Knowledge of the German language is an additional benefit as most of SciBases customers are located in Germany.
SciBase is looking for someone who is open minded, meticulous, with proficient social skills. Problem solving and the ability to communicate pedagogically are needed expertise. The position requires flexible thinking and the ability to work well both within a team and also independently when needed.
