About the position
Do you have the passion and drive for Sustainability? If you are looking for an opportunity to help to shape the future of our sustainability work within KA’s purchasing function, this might be the opportunity for you.
We are looking for someone who can manage the compliance and all activities related to regional and country specific legislation, including being the company main expert and coordinator for Supplier Sustainability Programs, being the leader of the multidisciplinary Supplier Sustainability Committee, and support Segments and internal functions in implementing Sustainability processes.
The position will be based in Mullsjö or Göteborg, Sweden and reports directly to Director Purchasing Processes and Services.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities are, but are not limited to, the following:
· Primarily focus on managing the compliance and activities related to CM (Dodd Frank Act) and other related materials and areas.
· Be the expert on legal, customer and industry requirements and practices related to other sustainability requirements in the supply chain.
· Auditor with regard to Supplier Sustainability Assessment; performing evaluation of audit results, perform on-site assessments and propose actions / consequences for non-compliant suppliers.
· Superuser of the external assessment tool (NQC), and lead activities related to assessments.
· Ensure that KA sets up processes and guidelines with regard to sustainability in supply chain, and specifically for CM (Conflict Minerals).
· Lead development activities related to sustainability targets and goals within Purchasing function.
· Within the Purchasing Process and IT system team, from time-to-time support colleagues and activities within other expertise areas (e.g. process development).
· Evaluate and define applicable reporting system (e.g. process, IT systems).
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
· A minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience within supplier/quality, purchasing, environmental, business administration or engineering.
· Computer skills including MS Office and SAP.
· Experienced in implementing procedures within conflict minerals compliance and disclosure requirements.
· Proven competence of compliance program development and execution.
· Creative, structured and systematic thinking and have a high degree of personal integrity and confidence.
· Project management skills.
· Shows initiative and drives for results through collaboration and teamwork.
· Excellent command of written and spoken English.
