The Group Sustainability team focuses on driving AFRY’s sustainability work on a strategic level. We have a forward leaning business focus on our clients and towards investors, we monitor and report our sustainability progress and strive to increase sustainability knowledge in the organisation. We engage in strategic arenas such as the Climate Change Conference (COP), provide guidance to the business on strategic themes and drive strategic projects to further leverage AFRY’s sustainability ambitions.


Job Description
With a focus on sustainability reporting, we are looking for a Sustainability Reporting Manager to strengthen our Group Sustainability team. You will have the opportunity to drive change and continuous improvement within our sustainability work – focusing on sustainability reporting to drive impact and grow our business. The role includes analytical and tactical tasks as well as strategic elements that further improve AFRY’s sustainability reporting capabilities in line with established sustainability reporting frameworks and regulation such as the NFRD, GRI Standards, TCFD, the EU Taxonomy and the upcoming CSRD.
You will report directly to the Director of Sustainability.
The position is on site at HQ in Solna, Sweden. Full-time employment.
Your key responsibilities will be to
Secure and continuously develop AFRY’s sustainability reporting capabilities in alignment with AFRY’s strategy and ambitions as well as emerging best practice and sustainability reporting regulation.
Provide necessary training and guidance relevant for the processes.
Consolidate sustainability information from various Group functions for the annual sustainability report and responsible for the third party limited assurance process.
Secure the necessary improvement measures to align the sustainability reporting process with the upcoming CSRD.
Continuously communicate on AFRY’s sustainability work, results and actions to internal and external stakeholders.
Drive strategic projects in connection to business lines and Group functions to leverage AFRY’s sustainability ambitions.



Qualifications
We are looking for a team player, who knows how to lead by example and how to empower by a positive attitude. You are passionate and have expertise regarding sustainability and understand how engineering and design plays a role to create a sustainable future. You are structured, proactive and curious to learn, develop and improve your ways of working and are a strong communicator.
To be successful in this role, the person we are looking for has:
Relevant Master’s degree, preferably within economics, sustainability or engineering.
3-5 years of professional experience from a similar role. Previous experience from assurance of sustainability reporting is a merit.
High level in written and spoken English and Swedish.
Knowledge in relevant sustainability reporting frameworks, standards and regulation such as GRI Standards, NFRD as well as the upcoming CSRD. It is meriting with knowledge about sustainable finance, the EU Taxonomy and the TCFD’s recommendations.
Experience from working with scenarios and megatrends. Deriving high-level business implications from these is meriting.
Proven project management skills, preferably with experience from working in an international organisation, with multiple stakeholders and in cross-functional environments.
Understanding of how sustainability is managed in a business environment with diverse types of offerings and solutions and how to combine long term goals and strategy with “here and now” actions.
