Over the last couple of years Deloitte’s services within financial and sustainability reporting experienced significant growth and we continue to see even stronger demand for our services going forward, including expectations to understand the connection between how sustainability and climate-related issues affect the "traditional" financial reporting. Therefore, we need to strengthen our team of employees with a focus on IFRS, financial and corporate sustainability reporting, and stock market issues with a clear focus on: Develop cutting-edge competencies in financial reporting and sustainability/climate reporting
Actively participate in the development of our service offering together with Deloitte's sustainability reporting management team
Deliver first class services on sustainability reporting to our clients

About the role
We are looking for several new members for our corporate and financial reporting team!
We are looking for seniors, managers and senior managers.
Regardless of Your position, you will have a central role in developing our sustainability reporting services with a focus on how climate-related risks affect external financial reporting.
You will work closely with Deloitte's team within both Audit Assurance and Risk Advisory (who lead and are responsible for the development of all of Deloitte's sustainability services). In your role, regardless of your level of experience, you are expected to be active, and contributing to driving the development of our service offering, but also how we address these issues from a corporate reporting and an audit perspective.
The role also includes supporting or managing Deloitte's team in reviewing and auditing sustainability reporting by experienced employees from our Risk Advisory department. Therefore, it is valuable to have an interest in building networks with employees from other departments within Deloitte.
In addition to the above tasks, you will also participate in advising on financial reporting to some of Sweden's largest and most complex companies, which is why an interest in financial and corporate reporting issues are important. The assignments vary in scope in everything from shorter investigative assignments to longer and more coherent projects. Our assignments and clients include both IFRS and generally accepted accounting principles in Sweden (K2 and K3) as well as how internal control over financial reporting should be designed. We work both with Deloitte's audit and risk advisory clients and perform advisory assignments for companies. The portfolio varies from some of Sweden's largest companies such as AB Volvo and Ericsson to fast-growing smaller companies, for example on their journey to the Stock Exchange.
A natural part of the role is lectures for both clients and Deloitte's employees and development of the department's structural capital (marketing material, newsletters and the like). The role may involve shorter trips, usually to Malmö and /or Gothenburg, but the scope of travel can be limited if necessary.

To succeed in the role, you’ll
To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate the following: At least 2 years and up to 10 years of experience working with accounting issues and external financial reporting from an accounting firm or other company
Interest in deepening your knowledge in qualified accounting issues with a focus on sustainability reporting and how climate-related risks affect the company's external financial reporting
Experience of auditing is a merit as you will support our sustainability reporting teams, but also, if necessary, support our audit teams with other issues regarding the external financial reporting
You collaborate well with your colleagues, and you like to help others develop and learn more, both technically and to build strong teams.
