SW Component Owner, Instrument Cluster and Secondary Display Volvo 3P is a Business Unit within the Volvo Group, which provides effective global solutions in the areas of product planning, purchasing, product development and Product Range Management for the four truck companies; Mack Trucks Inc, Nissan Diesel, Renault Trucks and Volvo Truck Corporation. The section Functional & Software Engineering within the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department develops applications and embedded systems for use in Renault, Mack, Nissan and Volvo trucks. The development is done in a global environment with suppliers from around the world. Work in conducted cross-functional with colleagues from areas like Product Design, Production, Purchasing and Aftermarket. You will work in a team responsible for developing Infotainment Systems located in Lundby, Gothenburg. Core Responsibilities: - Manage SW for Instrument cluster and display components sourced from external suppliers - Interface to internal stakeholders and compile implementation requirements - Single point of contact to suppliers for technical issues - Provide product documentation to our customers, the brands - Participate in advanced engineering projects for Infotainment systems - Product documentation in production and development tools - SW component integration in HW - Product roadmap Required Competencies: - Experience and knowledge in - Infotainment systems for automotive industry - System perspective (dependability and FMEA etc.) - Functional perspective - Embedded SW development - Supplier communication - Fluent in English, written and spoken Required Competencies: - 3 to 5 years Automotive Industry experience Minimum Education Required: - University degree in electronics or computer engineering Personal skills: - Systematic, analytic and open minded - Positive spirit - High co-operation and communication skills orally and in writing
