SW Customization Engineer Telecom

UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry. Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas. We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden. We are now looking for SW Customization Engineer, for a project in Stockholm to start in mid November. Job Description - As software Customization Engineer you will have an overall responsibility for configuring the customization tool and for managing all related content and software customization issues for one or several phone projects. - The work will involve troubleshooting technical investigations of the content and settings and also tools-related issues. The work ranges from troubleshooting to work with customization requirements handling within the project and factory verification support. - You will be part of the product software project for our new Symbian OS based models and the work requires a close co-operation with the launch project, product planning/product management as well as market organization. Tasks: . Develop and deliver customizations to our customers world-wide . Configuration of the customization tool . Manage different kind of SW customization issues within the phone projects, e.g.; implementation of new requirements . Read test reports, correct, manage and follow up errors . Troubleshooting . Create customization documents . Upload customizations to customers and to factory Qualification/Competence . The person we are looking for has a background in software related work but not necessarily as a developer. . Must have a customer focused mindset . Flexible and open to changes . University Master degree in computer science or similar . Experience of programming in VB (.NET) and good knowledge of XML is beneficial but not necessary .
