SW Function Dev on E-Motor Controls & Power Electronics, E-Drive

AVL Scandinavia PTE has around 300 employees in Sweden and we are currently reinforcing and expanding our E-Drive skill pillar in Controls and thus looking for passionate function developers who support our team. With our headquarters in Austria and affiliates spread globally we provide excellent engineering service to our world-renowned customers (both OEMs & Tier1s) and own interesting projects in many different areas.  
 
Your Responsibilities:    Embedded in our experienced development team, you enter the field of functional development for electric motor controls and power electronics   You work on the development of innovative strategies and functions for electric vehicle powertrain systems using modern simulation tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)   Following a model-based algorithm development approach, you optimize the existing functional models (current/torque/speed control loop, diagnostic management, backward/forward transformation and etc.) in the application software and maintain them until the series is introduced   You are involved in the MiL/SiL/HiL/PowerHiL tests of the functions that have been developed   You perform the requirement engineering, generate the test reports and FunDoc documentation if necessary  
Your Profile:   Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or Software Engineering   A few years of professional and industry experience or graduates with relevant knowledge background, internships or master thesis   Experience in control engineering and model-based development with Matlab/Simulink   Basic knowledge of field-oriented control of electric motors, power electronics or EV powertrain system   Communication and team skills   Good Swedish and English knowledge   Personality is very important to us!  
Meriting:   Basic knowledge of automotive function development process, e.g. V-Cycle, Agile   Using experience of the ECU/MCU testing tools such as ETAS INCA, dSPACE or CANalyzer    E-Drive product (E-Motor, Inverter, DC-DC converter) development experience, SW or HW   Overview of the current EV market and related technology trend
